Every engagement begins with a conversation. Here’s how I work.

  • The First Conversation

    A single session for those ready to start — or start over.

    In 90 minutes, I learn everything I need to know about you: your home, your life, your taste, your budget, and what you want your collection to do for you.

    • 90-minute in-person or video session

    • Written collecting brief delivered within one week

    • 3–5 artist recommendations aligned to your taste and budget

    • Honest assessment of where your collection stands — and where it could go

    • No obligation to continue

    One-time fee; This fee applies as a credit toward an ongoing engagement if you continue .

  • These are ongoing advisory services that provide a sustained relationship for collectors who are actively building.

    Think of it less like hiring a service and more like gaining a collaborator who is always thinking about your collection, even when you’re not. Every month, something happens: a studio visit, a call, a written briefing, a gallery preview.

    Building Your Eye

    For collectors who are learning and beginning to acquire with intention.

    • Monthly touchpoint: call, studio visit, or written market briefing

    • Proactive artist recommendations tailored to your taste and goals

    • Access to gallery previews, private viewings, and artists I know personally

    • A steady presence: someone to call before you commit, who will tell you the truth

    Active Acquisition

    For collectors who are ready to buy and want a trusted partner through every decision.

    • Everything in Building Your Eye, plus:

    • Active sourcing of specific works and in-depth market research

    • Negotiation support with galleries and private sellers

    • Full acquisition logistics coordination

    Most clients begin with Building Your Eye and move naturally into Active Acquisition. The pace is always yours.

  • Acquisition Advisory

    Expert guidance on a specific work or opportunity — without an ongoing commitment.

    Sometimes you’ve found something you love and need to know if it’s right. Sometimes you’re attending a fair and want someone in your corner. This is a focused, project-based engagement with a clear scope defined at the outset.

    • Research and market analysis on specific works or artists

    • Honest recommendation — including if the answer is “not this one”

    • Negotiation support and gallery communication on your behalf

    • Acquisition logistics coordination if the purchase proceeds

    Minimum acquisition budget of $10,000 per work.

  • Collection Stewardship

    Expert oversight for collectors with significant holdings.
